Bedroom Designer Profile: Robbins Weiner Design

At a special event that we hosted in May, we showcased five Colorado Interior Designers that we work with. Through our Interior Design Program we try to make the job of the Interior Designer easy, once they get to the bedroom furnishings, by offering the sheets, bedding and linen lines that we carry, and constantly searching for what is new and “best in class.” Interior designers and decoraters can be assured that we will have what they need in either our Denver or Boulder showrooms. The five designers were invited to create a bedroom design and to select each of its main features: duvet covers and shams, coverlets, sheets and pillowcases, blankets, throws, and decorative pillows. Robbins Weiner Design is one of the five firms that participated.

Peggy Bender founded Robbins Weinger Design after first working with national architecture firms. She has been involved with interior design for more than twenty-five years, and she has been working with us at The Brass Bed for most, if not all, of that time. Her interiors, whether contemporary or traditional, have a classic and timeless feel, always reflecting the vision she and her clients have created together.

For this bed design she chose various tones and textures of gray Belgian linen beginning with the duvet cover and shams in a damask weave with a natural linen and charcoal palette. The basket-weave linen Euro shams are especially textured and exhude a comfortable, natural style. Finishing the design with quirky embroidered and hand-painted decorative pillows and an orange throw, Peggy shows the versatility of a palette such as this.
