For over forty years, The Brass Bed has partnered with the Rocky Mountain region’s most esteemed nonprofit groups to help those in need during the holiday season. We are proud to announce that our partner for 2018’s donation drive is Volunteers of America® (VOA) Denver Branch.
Our Annual Sheet and Blanket Drive began Wednesday, November 21, and runs through Monday, December 31, 2018. Please donate gently used, clean sheet sets or blankets* at our Denver and Boulder locations and you will receive 20% off your choice of either a new sheet set or a blanket. We are also collecting gently used, clean bath towels for those in need, however bath is not included in the promotion.
The Volunteers of America® is a ministry of service that actively reaches out to care for our veterans, frail older adults and seniors, formerly incarcerated individuals, people struggling with addictions, children, youth and families, and many more. In Colorado alone, VOA has 335 paid, professional employees that help those in need cope with and recover from myriad problems including homelessness, poverty, and unemployment.
*Twin sheet sets and blankets are especially needed, though all sizes are welcome.
