In September, President, Rosella Louis, and General Manager, Laura Colangelo, traveled to Paris at the invitation of Yves Delorme (YDL) to attend their 170 year gala celebration. Held at the beautiful Hotel de Salomon de Rothschild, the event marked a significant moment in YDL’s history, as this family owned business transitions its operational and design management to the next generation.
The Brass Bed was honored to be included and to celebrate our 25 year partnership with YDL. Since joining forces, we have been a “top 10” store in the U.S. It was truly a high point for us to meet the family that owns YDL as well as other peers in our industry.
Yves Delorme is a top line for us, especially when it comes to prints. Their chief designer travels the world, rendering art for inspiration and ultimately translates her artwork into designs for each season’s patterns. We even got a sneak preview of the new Spring patterns and continue to be excited to share in the YDL design philosophy and sensibilities and bring it home to our customers.
